A great way to start the year with a first day hike at French Creek State Park. We met at Hopewell Lake and hiked up the Boone Trail to the Firetower pavilion. We were met by a radio enthusiast group who already had a warm fire burning in the fireplace. A wide variety of refreshments found their way to our table and New Year’s wishes were shared, complete with a rendition of the Andachtsjodler.
