Kelly’s Run Nature Preserve – 8/22/2026
The Trailhead is at the intersection of Old Holtwood Road and Crystal Drive where there is a parking area and pavilion. We took the blue trail down to cross Kelly’s Run then followed the Conestoga Trail up to the Pinnacle Overlook. Gettysburg National Military Park – 7/25/26
Our visit started at the Visitor Center with a morning hike to General Meade’s headquarters, the High Water Mark and the Pennsylvania Monument. After some lunch we tackled the trails starting at Devils Den and going up Round Top and then Little Round Top. Stateline Woods Preserve – 6/20/2026
Stateline Woods Preserve is located at 950 Merrybell Lane, Kennett Square, PA. The preserve has 86 acres and 4 miles of trails. It was a great day for a hike as the weather was warm and sunny, and the trail passed through woodlands, meadow, and wetlands. Refreshments were found afterwardsmat the Creamery in Kennett Square just a few miles away.
