Chestnut Hill Trail – 2/21/26
This trail rambles through a towering mature forest behind the Judge Morris Estate and crosses meandering creeks. We were blessed with nice weather, not so muddy trails and some refreshments at McGlynn’s Pub afterwards.

DSB Trail – 1/24/26
It was a nice winter day for hiking with the temp in the upper teens. We followed the DSB Trail through the woods and over the sturdy bridge erected by the scouts. We also found some nice trails to explore on the adjoining properties behind ours. About four miles later we found ourselves back at the club for some hot chocolate and schnapps.

French Creek State Park – 1/1/2026
What a great way to start the New Year! Our first day hike was in French Creek State Park, which has been our tradition for many years. Fair Hill – 11/23/25
We hiked the Blue Trail at Fair Hill NRMA which is a mix of woodland and open fields finishing through a tunnel under Appleton Road. It skirts Christina Creek and was about three and a half miles long. It was a nice fall day for hiking and included a stop at Old Stone Cider afterwards.

Bohemia River SP – 10/26/25
Beautiful day with sunny skies and colorful fall leaves. Found our way to a picnic bench along the river’s edge for refreshment, then back to the parking lot to complete our four mile hike.
